New Insights into American Culture and Society!



On May 28, 2014 the group of American Sport Lovers Gathered at the Window on America Center in Lutsk.



The main goal of the meeting was to increase awareness of:
·        different sports,
·         games for the whole world,
·        women in sports
·        sporting events.






Informative presentation, lovely discussions allowed the students to gain profound understanding of the value of the games that Americans play, the influence of sports around the world, etc.



We hope that numerous WOA Center resources used at the presentation helped to provide to readers not only interesting information about Sports in America, but new insights as well into American culture and society.

English Language Teachers Started Learning WOA Center in Lutsk Resources.


On May 21, 2014 the Window on America Center in Lutsk hosted a meeting for the  teachers (16 people )of English language from local and regional schools.

During the meeting the audience learned about the latest collection of English language learning and teaching resources at the Center.


The focus was made on the resources that help educators in becoming more familiar with modern technologies associated with teaching and learning English language, mainly:

types of learning and teaching resources;

strategies for effective resources development;

 Kindles in teaching and learning English;

guidance on how resources can be effectively used with examples of good practice.

"Happy Mothers' Day!" Wished the WOA Center in Lutsk Visitors to All Mothers



On May 11, 2014 the Window on America Center in Lutsk visitors had a Discussion on Mother’s Day Celebration in the USA and in Ukraine.





  The audience learned about the International history and tradition of the holiday.


The Window on America Center Numerous Resourses helped the present audience when learning about that celebration honoring mothers  and motherhood.




3 years - Mom, you're my best!

10 years - Mom, I love you!
15 - Mama, do not shout!




18 - I want to go away from this house
35 - I want to go back to my mother!


50 years - I am afraid to lose you, mom!

70 years - I would give everything to see you again, mom!
