The Public Speaking Club at the WOA Center in Lutsk!


And at the same time at the next door room the Public Speaking Club gathered Center visitors!

 The Club was organized in the format of chat with  native-speakersPeace Corp Volunteers Scott Ludwig and Vladimir Leontiev. 

Numerous activities, team discussions gave an opportunity to improve the speaking and listening comprehension, to overcome the communication skill to a new level.

Cold winter Sunday day…

The Window on America Center in Lutsk gathered English language teachers from Lviv, Ternopil, Rivne, Lutsk.
 This meeting wanted to investigate the importance of the Internet in English language teaching and learningpresented advantages and disadvantages of using Internet to learn and teach English language.
 The leader of the event - Maryana Lisowska is a language coach, an online trainer on English,  founder and organizer of the All-Ukrainian Conference of Foreign Languages ​​Teachers FORUM and Language Fest.


By using Internet, different online programs became easier for students and fruitful for teachers to use it as an instrument in their classrooms for achieving educational goals.

Teaching and Learning at the Window on America Center in Lutsk!



January 24, 2019 English language teachers were invited to explore the Resource Center.
The WOA Center Staff talked about the numerous programs, meetings and clubs. The main emphasis was made on the programs that help people to practice English with native speakers, Peace Corp Volunteers.






The audience learned much that one could find in the Center, its services, etc.

Every Sunday Join Public Speaking Club at the WOA Center in Lutsk!



            The Club is organized in the format of chat in cozy room at Volyn Research Library;

·         The Club is always supported by a native-speaker (Peace Corp Volunteer Scott Ludwig) who is an active participant in the conversation;



   We welcome all comers regardless of your level of language ability, the only vital thing is a desire to learn and a positive attitude;

Talking to native-speakers will give you an opportunity to improve your speaking and listening comprehension;

·         Moderators prepare a program for each club and involve all participants in the activities.

The Window on America Center in Lutsk Visitors Started the New Year with Informative Presentation on Colorado!




January 15, 2019 the Speaking Club Guest explored Colorado and enjoyed the breathtaking natural beauty of the state.


The one hour meeting was filled with interesting information and activities that were fun and informative.
The leader of the Club, the American Peace Corp Volunteer Leigh Scruggs led the event and helped the visitors retain interesting and new information.
