“Picturing America” Series of Art Comes to the WOA Center in Lutsk!

On April 11, 2013 the masterpieces of art were presented at the Center. Two groups (9+7 people) of students from Volyn National University had a great idea to gain a deeper appreciation of the US history through that innovative program.
“Picturing America” is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the American Library Association, that brings reproductions of 40 masterpieces of American art into classrooms and libraries nationwide.

By bringing high-quality reproductions of notable American art into public and private schools, libraries, and communities, Picturing America gives participants the opportunity to learn about the US nation’s history and culture in a fresh and engaging way.

Today’s presentation helped the students experience the humanity of history and enhance the learning and understanding of America’s past.

Join us at the Center, ask questions and share your
own thoughts and impressions about that high-quality reproductions of notable American art reflecting history & life!

The exhibition will be on display till May 6, 2013.
