Children love to learn and that love of learning doesn't
stop during the summer months. Luckily, parents can send their children to the
WOA Center in Lutsk to learn about the United States of America !
On June 10, 2015 a group of children
in grades 2 through 7 together with English
language teacher visited the Center.
During the presentation the pupils got acquainted with
wonderful resources for learning useful facts about each of our 50 states, US
geography, famous people, famous places, and notable history.
At the end of
presentation the young visitors tried a new way in learning English language while playing different games.
The aim of
the meeting was to make the process of learning more interesting, unusual and
effective and to have sufficient oral practice in the use of the Language.
The
audience was divided into two groups.
The
visitors showed great desire to work in groups so we chose appropriate board game to organize the process
of working – Super Scrabble.
4 hours
meeting was very unusual, but informative and effective. The main aim of
the event – to have practice in listening, speaking and free use of language
was successfully achieved.
The
visitors showed great interest in such kind of work, so we welcome everyone to
join our Clubs and to learn English with us!
No doubt that the WOA Center in Lutsk is an ideal place to
spend summer holiday and learned about the United States of America.
