WOA Center Modern Technologies as a Link Between Pupil and Teacher.

On March 18, 2013 the Window on America Center in Lutsk hosted a creative meeting for the 17 teachers of English language from local and regional schools.

The aim of the meeting was to create possibilities for developing and improving teachers’ practical and theoretical courses using the WOA Center resources.

During the presentation the audience learned about some powerful ways in order to implement modern technology in the classroom.

Of great interest was the innovative language learning program – Trace Effects, the use of board games when learning language, numerous books with the information on CDs on methods of teaching.

To improve the electronic reading the teachers were  proposed to try modern device -  the Kindles in teaching and learning English.

The teachers were acquainted with a wide range of resources available at the Center that could help to improve educational outcomes.

We believe that the meeting has been a success, regarding both the use of the numerous resources of the Center and the process of teaching about the United States of America in creative and effective ways!
