“Ray Charles: A Musical Genius for All Genres” In Memory of the African-American musician at the Window on America Center in Lutsk.



The Event Commemorating an American singer-songwriter, musician and composer known as Ray Charles was held at the Center on September 23, 2013, timed to the singer's birthday.
The meeting brought together the group of people (23) who believed Ray Charles to be  a pioneer in the genre of soul music. 
 An exhibition  “The World of Jazz” was held within the framework of this event.

 
Among other participants of the event, at the WOA Center, were students from National University of Food Technology., journalists, reporters from local television and other people who wanted to get more information about life and career of the American singer-songwriter, musician and composer – Ray Charles..

The audience had a great chance to listen to the songs “Living for the City”, “Hit the Road Jack”, “You Don’t Know Me” -  songs that are well known all over the world.



 A reporting on the local TV (Volyn News) showed that the event was successful among the present audience. 

Believe that appearance on TV will help to spread the information about Ray Charles: A Musical Genius for All Genres and attract more people to the Window on America Center in Lutsk.
