У ІЦ "Вікно в Америку" у Луцьку проходять курси "Англійська мова для ВПО та початківців".
Курси проходять з Понеділка по Четвер о 16:00 - 17:00.
Тема вчорашнього заняття була Present Indefenite Tense.

U.S. Cities Club With Window on America in Lutsk had a journey to Honolulu, Hawaii. Members played different games, learned about local dishes, too part in an array of activities, they even had a chance to make a lei.

Американський центр відвідали у рамках «літнього табору» наші майбутні користувачі – учні ЗОШ № 15 та 22. Дітвора ознайомилася з ресурсами центру, бавилася у різноманітні ігри. Окрім того, волонтер Корпусу Миру в Україні Сем Абрамс провів для учнів ЗОШ №22 урок на тему: "хоббі"

У перший день літа, студенти НУХТ прийшли до ІЦ "Вікно в Америку", щоб прослухати презентацію Сема Абрамса - волонтера Корпусу Миру в Україні про важливість вивчення  англійської мови.

Welcome to New York!

April 25th - U.S. Cities Club With Window on America in Lutsk . We took another virtual trip to New York City.

 It was all brand new with different activities, information, and games. Members learned about Adam Sandler, Emmy Rossum, Nas, Radio City Hall, Empire State Building, The One World Trade Center, Ellis Island, Martin Scorsese, Sarah Hyland, Scarlett Johnasson, New York style pizza, and more.

Сьогодні у нас в гостях були учні з Локачинської школи. Ми для них провели екскурсію нашою книгозбірнею. Вони дізналися багато нового про відділи обслуговування  та роботу бібліотеки в цілому.

Також наш волонтер, Сем Абрамс, підготував для них презентацію про культуру США. Після слайд показу він провів з ними деякі ігри під час яких вони могли попрактикувати англійську мову.

Ми раді, що до нас їдуть на екскурсію з інших районів і завжди раді новим гостям у ІЦ "вікно в Америку"!!!

Today group of pupils from local school # 24 gathered at the WOA Center in Lutsk.

During the meeting, Sam Abrams, volunteer showed the presentation about Thanksgiving Day history, symbols and traditions, the First Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving today.

After presentation, pupils had activities.

Audience got acquainted with the schedule of working of the center, got to know about the clubs and events that one can visit coming to the center.

We had a lot of dishes : two kinds of stuffing, turkey, different pies, gravy, mashed potatoes, salads, desserts, and cranberry sauce.
