The celebration of the Thanksgiving Day!

 

November 27, 2011 in Lutsk WOA center there was the celebration of the Thanksgiving Day. 14 persons were present, two Americans among them (Melissa Krut, Terry Mettison). Celebration was held in an atmosphere of friendly communication, combined with the traditions of Americans on this holiday. Our visitors prepared a lot of different kinds of cookies and home baking and the most interesting thing is that a real very tasty homemade chicken was also on our holiday table. There was prepared a presentation about this holiday, we discussed the history of it, its customs and traditions and the peculiarities of the celebration of this holiday in the USA.
