Independence Day Celebrations at the WOA Center in Lutsk.

During the period of time from July 2 till July 07, 2014 the colorful paper show “4 th of July - An American Celebration” and Informative book exhibition “Independence Day in the USA” gathered people at the Center. 

The audience showed great desire to talk about that Federal Holiday and it made the celebration memorable to the attending visitors.

"Professionalism + Creativity = Modern Librarian" was the Motto of Young Librarians who Visited Volyn State Scientific Library.

During three days (June 24-26) Volyn State Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted annual meeting for a group of young librarians (22 persons) from different regions of Volyn.

During the tour at the library the members of the meetng spend about an hour at the Window on America Center. 

Modern technologies of the Center, its resources, numerous programs, meetings and clubs were of great interest among the group of young librarians. 

 

The participants had the opportunity to talk to professional issues, share experiences, gain new knowledge.

The main emphasis was made on the programs that help the people to practice their English.
