Welcome Teachers!




Lutsk Window on America Center Supports the Year of English in Ukraine!









There was the presentation of the WOA center for teachers of English from Lutsk and regional schools (12).
The aim of the meeting was to create possibilities for developing and improving teacher’s practical theoretical courses using the WOA Center recourses.






During the presentation, they learned about some powerful ways in order to implement modern technology in the classroom.




The teachers were acquainted with the schedule of working of the center, have to know about the clubs and events that one can visit coming to the center



We can say for sure that the Window on America Center resources play a significant and pivotal role in the process of teaching!






Summer Camp at WOA Center!!!!

On the last day of May, 2016Window on America Center gathered about 30 pupils (2 and 3 forms) of local School №7.











During the presentation children learned more about the WOA Center material and resources. They have also known about events with native speaker that were organized in the Center.









At the second part of the meeting, the young visitors tried to learn English Language while playing different games. The aim was to make the process of learning more interesting, unusual and effective and to have sufficient oral practice in the use of the Language.















No doubt, that the WOA Center in Lutsk is an ideal place to spend summer holiday and learned about the United States of America.

They also visited Lutsk. It was nice and interesting meetingю

Cinco de Mayo at WOA Centrer

On May 8, Window on America held one final celebration before summer yesterday. We celebrated Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day.










The present audience was proposed to attend the presentation about the background of the holiday, its symbols. It was led by Sam Abrams, American Peace Corps Volunteer.

During the second part of the meeting, speaking activities. We played different traditional games, such as:



Cinco de Mayo Word Find Game. The members need to find word related to this holiday.














Pinata game. We made a piñata and filled it with candies and toys. Then we hung Pinatas and asked each participant to break it.




































And in the end of celebration we tasted traditional dishes that was made by Sam.
