International Hug Day in Lutsk!

World marks International Hug Day on January 21. The day was born in the US in 1986. First called National Hug Day, later it was spread worldwide.

On that day the WOA Center in Lutsk visitors together with librarians went along the streets, got acquainted with people, tell them about library services, mainly the informational Resource Center – Window on America. 

Participants of the event managed to cheer many citizens and invite them to the library.

Numerous printed materials, brochures, and calendars 2015 were small presents for new friends.

The event was of great success and we believe that these unusual acquaintances will bring new visitors to the Center!

Exhibition of articles from periodicals on the topic "USA Supports Ukraine" at the WOA Center in Lutsk!

The information resource Center – Window on America Center in Lutsk – invites the visitors to attend an exhibition of articles from periodicals on the topic "USA Supports Ukraine".

          

The exhibition presents articles from English-language newspapers such “The  Day”  and “Kyiv  Post “.

The presented materials that contain up to date information about the situation in our country are of great interest among visitors. 

They comment: “Ukraine’s partnership with the United States of America is a significant part of solution to save Ukrainian independence, and security”.
