Informative lesson on travel gave the present audience the opportunity to get more information on topics like culture and geography With a travel theme, the audience could dig into the life and traditions of different countries! Effective Partnerships and Collaborations between - School # 5 and School # 1 in Lutsk! April 22, 2021 the Window on America Center in Lutsk together with two local schools - School # 1 and School # 5 organized the lesson “English – Speaking Countries”. Informative presentation, interesting activities and wonderful interactions took place among the pupils themselves, as well as between pupils and teachers. It helped to develop language learning and social skills! The presentation materials about “English – speaking countries, were aimed: • to form the knowledge of the new material, encouraging pupils practical skills, • to develop pupils’ creative and logical abilities, understanding, speaking, listening • to bring –up love, interest to the subject, English language, other countries, creating a relaxed, non-threatening atmosphere in the Window on America Center room. We look forward to future collaborations and to continuing our effective meeting at the Window on America Center in Lutsk!

Kids Club at the Library!

Education is the most powerful weapon we can give our kids to change the world! And it’s true. That’s why we in Window on America Center are always happy to help our kids to achieve their first steps, first efforts, first best results in English and try to do everything possible to encourage them to love it and just make it the part of their daily life. And of course we truly believe that success in mastering it can be achieved by each of them. Because our success is like a snowball. It takes efforts to build and the more you roll in the right direction, the bigger it gets. That’s why we just try to move with our pupils in the direction of English and multiply our knowledge and love for it day by day, because it’s knowledge is the most powerful weapon we can use nowadays to change this world! Today at our Free of charge English Kids Club we talked about Health Problems. The pupils were able to learn new vocabulary, listened to audio and video resources connected with the topic, made up exercises and dialogues where someone was a doctor and another one a patient, resolved puzzles, tried to replace the sentences from Present Simple to Past Tense and of course played games such as Tic Tac Toe, Put the words in order game, Health Problems Board game, Memory game on health problems and Guess what’s the matter with my health game. We spent time greately!!! We are always welcomed to see you at our free of charge English Kids Club at the Research Library of Olena Pchilka, Shopena 11 Street!!!!

The Successful Zoom-School Experiment in Lutsk!

Zoom has helped schools and teachers around the world quickly shift to remote virtual learning. The Window on America Center in Lutsk together with two local schools - School # 5 and School # 1 organized a digital lesson on Zoom platform. The same productive learning environment was given to the pupils as their traditional classroom settings. Today April, 9 2012 virtual English lesson was held and gathered pupils to learn more about Relationships between Boys and Girls. . The following topics were discussed: • What is adolescence • Lack of education in affective relationships • . Types of relationships between adolescents • Friendship relationships It was a lot of fun talking about the relationships and just having a wonderful Friday. The virtual lesson was cool, really funtastic, wonderful, exciting,and awesome! Keep in touch dear friends!

Broaden Your Horizons at the Window on America Center in Lutsk!

On April 07, 2021, the Window on America Center in Lutsk hosted a debate tournament among pupils from local schools. The topic of the tournament was Penitentiary System in the USA. These engaging talks explored the systemic issues of the US criminal justice system and how they plagued everyday people and society as a whole. The audience talked over the
criminal system in America and applied their skills, such as analytical and critical thinking, defending their position, communication skills, erudition and creativity, as well as the ability to act quickly in unforeseen situations.

Window on America in Lutsk had the first official

of 2021. On Sunday, TV Series returned after a 4 year pause. The members of the Club watched an episode of Grey’s Anatomy and an episode of Friends. Members had a chance to take part in many activities in pairs as well as in groups. Sam Abrams led the Movie Club and helped the audience to take part in many activities in pairs as well as in groups.
