Kid’s Summer Events – Play and Learn!

August 16, 2023 Volyn State Scientific Library named after Olena Pchilka opened its doors to children filled with numerous summer programs. The activities took place at the Window on America Center in Lutsk and gathered pupils from COOL Media School. The young readers had fun and improved their English at the same time. They watched series, played board games, communicated and just had fun building literacy skills and enjoying time with each other.. Enjoy yourselves spending time playing and advancing

Summer Talks at the Library!!!!

Today the students of Lutsk lyceum #1 have learnt and improved their English with Lutsk Window on America Center came Club memebers to talk about Movies. The audience got together to discuss different films, learn and practise useful language for talking about films and discussed their preferences related to watching movies. We listened to the film reviews and watched the trailers to practise and improve listening skills, The listening activity was followed by a discussion which gave students the opportunity to put into practice the film language they had learnt earlier. Finally, students discussed their preferences related to watching films It was a beautiful summer weekend at the Library!
