Happy Birthday America Сelebration at the WOA Center in Lutsk!

The WOA Center in Lutsk visitors added their own custom to the 4yh of July Celebration – to come to the Window on America Center in Lutsk for a Happy Birthday America celebration devoted to the Independence Day in the United States of America.

During the period of time from July 4 till July 10, 2013 there were series of meeting that gathered about 40 people at the Center.

Informative book exhibition “Portrait of America”, the colorful paper show “4 th of July - An American Celebration” combined with friendly talks with American guests made the celebration memorable and meaningful to the attending visitors.

It was an informative, fun and friendly event that most the visitors have been coming to for years.


People who came to the Center during these days enjoyed the way we celebrated the Independence Day in the USA.

The Official Visit from US Embassy!

On July 1^st , 2013 the Window on America Center in Lutsk met Arthur Evans, the assistant cultural affairs office at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv.

The directors of the Volyn Research library together with the WOA Center staff had a formal talk on the subjects that had relation to the work of the Center.

It is always exciting when we have an opportunity to have informative talk about the WOA Center methods of work necessary to move forward.

Our every day visitors, mainly Svitlana Horbach, English language teacher at the University, some students had a frank and useful conversation with Arthur Evans about the use of the modern device -  the Kindles - in teaching and learning English.at the Center.
