Role of the Library in Student Success !

Lutsk Window on America Center welcomed Volyn National University Students to talk about the practical usage of innovative methods and techniques in foreign language teaching. The development of society innovatives changes both in the content of educational materials and in the methodology of teaching foreign languages. This is the reason for meetings, talks and lovely discussions at the Lutsk Window on America Center .

Mother’s Day Event at Lutsk Window on America Center!

A group of students from Technical Applied College of Lutsk National Technical University visited the library to find out how people celebrate Mother's Day around the world! The meeting was a great way to learn about the different dates, traditions and celebrations to mark this event. A perfect way to learn how we honour mothers and maternal figures in countries across the globe.

Study and Relax at Volyn Library!

"Places where knowledge meets" was the topic of meeting in the frame of the library project. Members of the group wanted to improve their language skills by meeting others face to face in an informal atmosphere. In the language exchange meeting they practiced a language and talked about buildings, streets, parks in Lutsk. Of great interest was the presentation about Lutsk Castle. When the students needed to unwind and relax we offered to calm the body and mind. We had active minutes of health and wellness program during the event! Such a wonderful Saturday and great way to end the working week!

Lutsk Window on America Center Hosted Round Table Discussions!

March 28, 2023 more than 40 pupils and students gathered at the library to take part in the conversations. The topic was “The 21 d Century Skills : the Strategies of Development in Education”. During the meeting Volyn National University Students showed profound presentations about educational platforms, teaching resourses and applications such as Buki, Grammarly, Kahoot, Wordwall, etc. The organized event with numerous conversations brought a variety of perspectives to a given subject.

The Library Project Continues!

March 25, 2023 the pupils from Lyceum # 1 gathered at Lutsk Window on America Center to have informative talks about : Evolution of relationships; The changes during the war in Ukraine; Justice on the frontlines; Your involvement in the war; Culture during the war in Ukraine. The second part of the project consisted of a moderated discussions and QaA session. The participants interacted with each other and had a great time at Volyn Library! The students shared powerful stories, and personal thoughts. It was really impressive and actual. The Window on America Center in Lutsk is a place of numerous events,feelings and emotions. Welcome to our teamwork and collaboration!

The information facilities at Volyn

Library named after Olena Pchilka provide extensive collections of electronic, print and digital information, alongside perfect learning spaces for study. The Center welcomed Lutsk Higher Vocational School students and supported their ability to learn! However, learning to use the Library resources is an important skill to master. By finding and using good quality information English language learning will be easier and more interesting!
