On June 16, 2013 the Window on America Center
in Lutsk held a
Discussion - Decision Making for 13 people.
Terry Mattison, the American Peace Corps
Volunteer in Lutsk
led the discussion and helped to develop participants’ personal reasoning in
relation to conservation issues.
The
following research questions were discussed:
1.
Is
it better to read a book or is it better to watch TV/Movies?
2.
Is
it better to try to do something hard/scary and fail or is it better not to try
at all?
3.
Is
it better to have a goal for your future or is it better to just try everything
and go in the direction it takes you?
Findings indicated the positive value of participants taking part in these
short decision-making discussions. The present audience increased their quality
of personal reasoning, and modified their solutions to the issues.
