People from many countries worldwide participate in various ways to promote the International Day of Pearsons with Disabilities. This year the Window on America Center in Lutsk organized a paper show "Ability not Disability".
During the period of time from December 02 till December 09, 2013 the exhibit was displayed at the Center and aimed to:
The event worked to support and promote the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities.
- show the skills, abilities, contributions and achievements of people with disability;
- promote a positive image of people with disability.
The visitors were proposed to watch
the documentary about life of people
with disabilities in the United
States and Ukraine made by Vadim Kastelli.
During
these days the Window on America
Center united people
(about 35) in acknowledging the contributions, skills and achievements of
people with disability
The event worked to support and promote the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities.
