Each year beginning on February 1, an entire month of events were planned honoring the history and contributions of African Americans.
. Black History Month was also
marked the Window on America
Center
in Lutsk with a program of events including talks,
discussions, paper show and meetings.
More than 35 people gathered at the Window on America Center in Lutsk to have a discussion to honor Martin Luther King Jr. as a leader in the American civil rights movements.
The
paper show “August 28, 1963 March in Washington”
was displayed at the Center so that the audience could learn more about the
growing struggle for civil rights in the United States of America.
The meeting
was finished with Martin Luther King Jr.’s "I Have a Dream" speech, a
spirited call for racial justice and equality.
