During November 24-26, 2014 a group of pupils
gathered at the WOA Center in Lutsk
to learn about the Pilgrims, the
Indians, the Mayflower, and the First Thanksgiving.
During the meetings the
audience explored the Thanksgiving Day history, the First Thanksgiving and
Thanksgiving today.
The book exhibition “Thanksgiving Day in the USA” contained up to date books and articles in
which this holiday, its customs and traditions were described.
The best of the WOA
Center resources were presented and helped the audience to understand the
history of the United States of America, mainly the national holiday – the
Thanksgiving Day!
