Library Visit Program
One of the goals of
the partnership between the the Window on America Center in Lutsk and the VIPPO Center was to offer educational
sessions to aid the teaching process at schools. The goals of the Library Visit program were to ensure that:

all of program participants were introduced to the library service;
·
the reachers had an
opportunity to learn about the informational resources available at the
library;
·
all the members who participated in the programhad the opportunity to receive a library card of their
own.
·
During the meeting the WOA Center stuff introduced the audience to library services and collections in aninteractive way, to the variety of books and materials
available at the library andgave an introduction to
searching our catalogue and databases.
·
We emphasized research skills focusing on the use of the library's
information resources - in all formats including online databases and print.
The stuff has developed presentations that showed the teachers
how to gather resources and use digital technology.
