n this Kids Club the members were introduced to some common Halloween characters, read a fun Halloween stories, sang a Halloween songs and played lots of fun games.

Members got accompanying flashcards, worksheets, song and books for reading!

COVID-19 has forced to rethink the events organization  and has thrust us into a world of distance meetings

October 27, 2020 our Center hosted a meeting for teachers of English language from local and regional schools.

The audience had meeting on Zoom's video platform .

The meeting was a great opportunity:

• to share academic progress and growth;

• discuss strategies to support students learning.

The main goal of these meetings was to learn about technologies that can influence the process of education.

We emphasized research skills focusing on the use of the library's information resources - in all formats including online databases and print.

The Kids Club at the Window on Amirica Center in Lutsk is a fun, positive, and safe environment where kids can increase their vocabulary, practice spelling, improve their computation skills, and learn to strategize all while playing a game with their friends!

This is a fun and learning English club that will have kids coming back for more!

On October 20, 2020 the Window on America Center in Lutsk Welcomes English Language Teachers!

The meeting was organized together with VIPPO Center. The main goal of the event was to discuss strategies to support pupils learning, to find out technologies that can influence the process of education.

 

The audience was divided in two parts- face to face audience and remote participants, the last joined the meeting via Zoom platform.

 

We focused on the use of the library's information resources - in all formats including online databases and print.

 Window on America Center Kids Club in Lutsk is designed for young readers and provides classes fun-filled activities for children/ The Club members are keen to learn English and discover English through fun based activities and practise their new found skills with other children.

Our lerning adventures are the perfect way for kids to explore English Language in a different way!

The members tried some new activities, the good and bad of medicinal drugs, if they should be accessible in different countries, and they ended it with pairs creating their own drug that could help people.
